As CEO, Michael is responsible for Remedy Health Media’s strategic vision and growth, including overseeing its operations and establishing a culture of productivity and collaboration. Since joining the company in 2008, Michael has led the content and digital expansion of Remedy’s business through a mix of organic activities and acquisitions, including the integration of the University Health Publishing business and the acquisition of HealthCommunities, Intelecare Compliance Solutions and the Health Central Network. Remedy now reaches more than 150 million health-minded consumers each year with its proprietary content at the point of care, online and on mobile devices.

Previously, Michael was President of HealthTalk, a leading online content provider for chronically ill patients and caregivers. Having authored key strategic changes to the organization’s business model that achieved a growth in revenue, Michael successfully positioned and sold HealthTalk to Revolution Health in December of 2007. Following the acquisition, Michael became Revolution’s Chief Revenue Officer, overseeing revenue and sales strategy until the merger of Revolution Health and Everyday Health in 2008. Prior to his roles at Revolution and HealthTalk, Michael led consumer sales strategy at WebMD Health.

Michael currently lives in Greenwich, CT, with his wife and three children.

Lisa Cohen Chief Financial Officer Expand

As Chief Financial Officer, Lisa Cohen is responsible for all finance, accounting, treasury, legal, risk management and financial compliance operations for Remedy Health Media.

A Certified Public Accountant, Lisa received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, with honors, from Binghamton University in New York and also brings to Remedy Health Media more than 12 years of accounting, finance and business operations experience.

Previously, Lisa served as Executive Vice President – Finance at Sleep Innovations, Inc., where she was responsible for overseeing financial controls, reporting, strategic planning, treasury and risk management. Prior to that position, she spent more than eight years with Ernst & Young LLP, where she worked in the Transaction Advisory and Assurance practice groups in New York City. Her experience includes auditing public and private companies, and executing financial and accounting due diligence for private equity and corporate companies on transactions including mergers and acquisitions, carve-outs and debt and equity financing.

Lisa's financial expertise and business acumen are vital to the continued growth and success of Remedy Health Media.

Kevin Aniskovich Chief Innovation Officer Expand

As Chief Innovation Officer, Kevin is responsible for Remedy Health Media’s global brand strategy and positioning, information technology, product development in new and existing markets and the identification and coordination of enterprise-wide efficiencies related to information technology and operational processes and procedures.

Prior to its acquisition by Remedy, Kevin was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Intelecare Compliance Solutions, Inc., a healthcare technology company focused on increasing medication adherence through mobile and digital means. He was the architect of the company’s strategic plan and responsible for executing product development initiatives, negotiating enterprise solutions and steering its expansion into vertical markets.

Previously, Kevin was Regional Vice President of Pharmaceutical Partnerships for Epocrates, the market leader in developing clinical information and decision support tools for healthcare professionals. He began his career in healthcare working at The Center for Research and Public Policy, a market research and public policy consulting firm.

In 2008, PharmaVOICE Magazine named Kevin to their list of the Top 100 Most Inspiring People in the Life-Sciences Industry.

Jim Curtis Chief Revenue Officer Expand

As CRO, Jim is responsible for Sales, Business Development and Marketing strategy and execution across all of Remedy Health Media’s Digital, Print and Mobile product lines.

With a strong background in interactive health information and tools, Jim will focus on driving digital growth for the company while creating advertising solutions that leverage Remedy’s strong multi-platform media solutions.

Most recently, Jim served as Vice President of Sales at Everyday Health where he was successful in developing an early stage sales team into a market-leading organization focused on customized, cross platform, patient education solutions. While at Everyday Health, Jim also held roles of General Manager, CarePages.com; Publisher of WhatToExpect.com, the online complement to the New York Times best seller, What To Expect When You’re Expectingand VP, Sales and Strategy for EH Mobile.

Jim began his career trading health technology options on the American Stock Exchange in New York and eventually went to work for a company he traded, OnHealth.com. At OnHealth.com, he assisted in the advertising sales and business development activities that lead to its acquisition by WebMD Health. Having been retained by WebMD Health after the acquisition, Jim served as Director of Strategic Partnerships.

Jim is a graduate of the Whittemore School of Business at the University of New Hampshire.

Patrick Aysseh Executive Vice President, Digital Expand

As Executive Vice President, Digital, Patrick oversees the operations of marketing strategy, interactive media, brand development, research and analytics.

Patrick most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer of Revolution Health Group, where he was responsible for developing and executing the company's marketing strategy for a network of health websites. This included growing and managing an audience of over 15MM visitors a month, working with sales & product development, managing key distribution partnerships, growing and managing an active subscriber database, as well as developing brand building campaigns. Patrick joined Revolution Health through the acquisition of HealthTalk, a health information site dedicated to helping patients and caregivers manage chronic conditions. In his leadership role at HealthTalk, he was instrumental in the sale to Revolution Health.

Prior to HealthTalk, he held the position of Senior Director, Business Intelligence and Marketing Strategy at WebMD, and management positions at OnHealth Network Company (sold to WebMD in 2000), CondeNet, CondeNast's internet division, and Ziff-Davis.

Patrick has an MBA in Finance and Media from Columbia University and a B.A. in Political Science and English from Cornell University.

David Lee Executive Vice President, Subscription Expand

As Executive Vice President of Publishing, David is responsible for strategy and operations for Remedy Health Media’s print publications, including subscription/direct marketing, circulation and fulfillment, production and distribution, database, planning, and product development and rejuvenation.

David brings an extensive base of profitable print and interactive health publishing experience, and a substantial background in successful multi-channel, multi-product, multi-media consumer marketing experience to Remedy Health Media. He is coordinating the architecture for our corporate customer databases, and working to develop a customer centric view of the emerging changes in patterns of media consumption.

David most recently was founding CEO/Publisher for Tufts Media LLC, publishers of the Tufts Health & Nutrition Letter and other health titles. David was Vice President/Corporate Marketing for F&W Publishing and guided strategy for 22 profit centers including special interest magazines, SIPs, books, book clubs and distance education. He served as Senior Vice President for the Magazine Publishers of America, with special expertise in consumer marketing, distribution, legal affairs, and international publishing. David also increased consumer marketing profits with CBS Magazines, Readers Digest and American Broadcasting Companies publishing division.

David holds an AB with honors from Princeton University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
