Job Description:

Remedy Health Media is looking for an experienced and talented Engineering Manager to join our Technology team. The Engineering Manager will lead the technical across all Remedy’s consumer software development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a problem-solving mindset, have experience working in agile teams in a fast-paced environment, and is able to work on several parallel projects.  The Engineering Manager lead will work directly with product managers, developers, testers and system operations.  They will also make architecture decisions on new product and existing development efforts at Remedy Health Media

This is a full-time position based in Arlington, VA. There is potential for short trips to New York for specific projects.    

Responsibilities:

·               Manage existing development team, providing leadership and mentorship.

·               Collaborate daily with product management and business to define and implement innovative technical solutions.

·               Provide architectural guidance for leading health media applications.

·               Direct the work of engineers to ensure the best practices around software development.

·               Continually keep yourself updated with the latest changes in the industry’s standards.

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

 

·               5+ years of experience and proven track record

·               Experience with React and Node.js

·               Professional experience working with and building API’s

·               Experience with AWS or other cloud providers

·               Experience leading, solutioning and managing modern media sites

·               Experience with the software development life cycle and Agile.

·               Strong organizational skills

·               Motivation and the ability to self-direct, including setting priorities and meeting deadlines.

·               Ability to work both as part of a team and independently, and to manage complex and simultaneous projects.

·               Excellent oral and written communication skills to clearly convey technical information to internal and external clients.

Job Description:

 

Remedy Health Media is looking for an experienced technical support specialist to join our team!

 

The focus of this role is on receiving and triaging client support related requests and incidents with a detailed level of Remedy enterprise system knowledge, including but not limited to: creating associated support tasks in Remedy’s preferred ticketing system, identifying and managing the associated knowledgeable resource to provide solutions and proactively communicating with the client. The role requires a high level of organization and is ultimately responsible for managing the backlog of customer-reported issues by ensuring clear and detailed communications with clients and internal personnel. Some key essential job functions include the following:

  • Account management and client support

  • Quality Assurance (QA)

  • Vendor management

  • Enterprise billing and cost projections/analysis


Responsibilities and some representative routine tasks:

  • Monitor support communication sources (email, phone, etc.) based on defined office hours and role expectations

  • Use standard support steps for reported issues including research root cause, attempt to replicate issue, escalate issue to appropriate Remedy resource for further resolution if necessary, and communicate identified cause and resolution of the reported issue to the client.

  • Actively communicating with internal resources on the status of ongoing projects to ensure timely solution delivery to client

  • Facilitate monthly client support calls by providing advanced agendas, follow-up, and all necessary communication

  • Provide testing assistance to Quality Assurance (QA) team when needed

  • Assist in providing monthly billing for all Enterprise products

  • Assist in the renewal and/or renegotiation of vendor and/or client contracts

  • Assist Product Manager in drafting, gathering, and/or organization of system requirements.

Job Description:

Remedy Health Media is looking for an experienced and talented Director, Design/UX to join our Product team. The UX Design Lead will help shape user-centric products and experiences across all Remedy’s software development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a problem solving mindset, have experience working in agile teams in a fast paced environment, and are able to work on several parallel projects.  The UX Design lead will work directly with product managers, developers and specialists on our Editorial, Analytics and healthcare Sales teams. They will also lead ideation on new product development efforts at Remedy Health Media, making deliberate design decisions and translating user experience journeys into smooth user interactions.

This is a full-time position based in Arlington, VA. There is potential for short trips to New York for specific projects.    

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, and eventually manage, the product design team

  • Collaborate daily with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.

  • Produce user flows, concept wireframes, polished mocks and prototypes with such tools as Balsamiq, Adobe Creative Cloud, and InVision

  • Own the style guide across our entire suite of health sites and enterprise software solutions

  • Mentor the product and development team as they seek to understand the value of a good user experience

  • Communicate the business value of quality design to our stakeholders, partners and investors

  • Implement visual design to support agile environment practices, providing solutions based on user research, feedback, and testing.

  • Continually keep yourself updated with the latest changes in the industry’s standards.

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

 

  • 5+ years of experience and proven track record (A portfolio to be presented and defended during interview.)

  • Experience with the systems development life cycle and Agile.

  • Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.

  • Experience using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, InVision, UXPin, Quartz.

  • Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript.

  • Familiarity with React preferred

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Motivation and the ability to self-direct, including setting priorities and meeting deadlines.

  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently, and to manage complex and simultaneous projects.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to clearly convey technical information to internal and external clients.

  • Bachelors (or above) in Graphic Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field.
