Responsibilities:

·     Implement and launch new online media programs including traditional web ads, mobile ads, video ads, and custom ad solutions.  Help us and our clients bring media campaigns to life.

·     Troubleshoot online ad delivery and performance issues.

Qualifications:

·     We’d love it if you are familiar with DoubleClick (DFP and XSM), Atlas, or other ad serving technology, but if you are willing to learn, we are willing to teach you.

·     We’d also really like it if you understand a bit of HTML and JavaScript, but again, if you are willing to learn, we are willing to teach you.

·     Professional attitude with the willingness to try and learn new things.

·     Type A-ish personality: you care about details and getting it right.

·     Recognition that the best idea wins.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with contributors, including freelance writers, professional experts and bloggers.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports and implements editorial strategy for a brand new site, with an eye to traffic, service, reach, brand, “shareability” and engagement.

Account Manager – New York, New YorkExpand

We are seeking an account manager to join our talented client operations team.The Account Manager will be responsible for developing strategic proposals, as well as the management and client services pertaining to sold programs. As the primary contact between internal departments and agencies, strong communication skills are a must. Daily tasks can include: proposal building, performance optimization, billing confirmation, delivery reporting, and IO review.This position will be based in New York.

Responsibilities:

 Pre-sale (~ 40%)

  • Work with Sales Executives and Marketing Department to develop strategic programs based on clients’ objectives and budget.

  • Build media plans, taking into account the clients’ historical performance, restrictions, and pricing.

Post-sale (~ 60%)

  • Provide exceptional customer service to agencies, acting as internal point of contact for Sales, Ad Operations, Marketing and Finance teams.

  • Oversee the production and implementation of sold programs, coordinating with Custom Solutions and Ad Operations for a smooth and timely launch.

  • Proactively monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing optimizations as necessary and presenting areas for potential incremental.

  • Ensure media plans are delivered as contracted and clients’ tactical needs are met.

  • Review all initial and revised IO’s to ensure accuracy prior to approval.

  • Confirm campaign billing and invoicing on a monthly basis.

  • Prepare and present campaign delivery reports and optimizations for both internal review and client wrap reporting.

  • Entertainment and client events.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in the digital media industry with publisher and/or agency background, ideally in an Account Management/Client Services role. Sales planning experience a must, ad ops experience a plus. 

  • Top-notch customer service skills—the ideal candidate is positive, energetic, dependable, resourceful, and willing to go the extra mile for clients.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines, while always maintaining a keen attention to detail.

  • Fluency in media-buying terminology (e.g., CPM vs. CPA, reach vs. frequency), familiarity with online ad-serving platforms (e.g., Doubleclick products) and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce.

  • Ability to be articulate in both verbal and written communication.

We are seeking a Senior Editor to work in a fun, fast-paced new media environment. This role will focus on helping to develop, implement, monitor and execute editorial goals for our Health Central brand.This position will be located in the Arlington office.

The ideal candidate will be a detail- and process-oriented Senior Editor, used to juggling multiple projects, deadlines and “deliverables.” Experience in digital publishing is preferred.

  • Implements daily content creation on healthcentral.com, including slideshows, articles, blog posts, social outreach, among other formats.

  • Oversees and assigns content to writers.

  • Curates content packages to optimize user engagement and deliver on advertiser requests.

  • Works with Managing Editor in manage trafficking and process.

  • Always up-to-date on health news and journalism, as well as social media tactics and technology.

  • Reports to executive editor.

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 4-6 years digital publishing experience, health, food, or nutrition background a plus.

  • Solid journalism experience/education – Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  • Experience with metadata, tagging, CMS, and SEO.

  • Working knowledge of Omniture, Google Analytics.

  • Top-notch editing and organizational skills.

  • Keen understanding of social media strategies and opportunities.

  • Ability to collaborate with a team, as a team.
